OLD BUSINESS

Willard Osterhout stated that Family Day is the same day as the Berne Heritage Day and this would be a conflict for Association members that were working or just goinf there. Dan Johnson suggested that because Family Day seems to be in one of it's normal slumps, that we cancel at least for this year. Jerri Osterhout suggested that in the future we might consider the change from the third Saturday in July to another Saturday. Sue Rockmore then moved to cancel, at least for this year, John Hanley seconded. A vote was taken and passed.

Gary Mostart questioned how the Walleyes were doing. Some caught through the ice were more than 20 inches long according to Willard.

Bill Hazen wondered why there were more raffle tickets at the hardware store that weren't selling. He was told that it probobly was to early in the summer.

The placing of bouys was brought up, and Bob Dollar asked about size and shapes. A discussion followed and no one knew what the regulations were.

Susan Rockmore contaced someone at the JCC about the operation of the boats and expressed our concerns. The person was going to pass our feelings on to the board.

He also requested the by-laws which Jerri will get to him. John Hanley offered to help with Ridge Lane, Roger Freestone will help with Mill Dam Road and Dave Whitbeck will help with O'Hanlon Lane and the cove along with ? Hogan.

Bob Rivers offered to do a boating course if needed. He wants at least 7 people for a course.

John Hanley requested that the lake be lowered in the fall to repair his deck.

Will told everyone about his call from Onderdonk Lake and their weed problem. Their cost is not viable for us and is no longer viable for them.

Will also brought up a letter from Encon's Dam safety Department. Discussions followed.

Will announced that Book number 4 is at the printers and would need to be paid for. Tony McDonald motioned to pay and Teri Osterhout-Paton seconded. The motioned was passed.

Willard announced that he'd had pictures from the book enlarged and that the Town of Berne had framed them and are hanging throughout Town Hall. He also spoke to Blossom Marchand and she wanted to say hello to everyone.

Bob Kraft wanted to know if we couldn't deed the dam over to the town. Terri Johnson said we should have control, not the town.

NEW BUSINESS

Jack MacCollum has a boat missing. If anyone knows where it is would they let him know.

The wesite has had 5500 hits.

The membership is at 156. A question of having different levels was brought up including a business level, so that dues might be different.

The nominating committee was asked to replace all officers that no longer wanted to be in place and to find 1 new board member. Will said he would help anyone for a year and Bart Mullen has their place up for sale. The nominating committee consists of Roger Freestone, Bob Rivers and Tony McDonald.
